General questions

Hi -- we’ve used another supplier to migrate M1 to M2 (their name begins with L), but the configurable pricing is all wrong on the front end. On M1 we’ve used the ‘super attribute’ to provide product uplift pricing for the variants. On M2 this doesn’t exist so we now have the configurable product with the associated simple products. The price of the configurable product is set at £8.99 and the simple products are set at £8.99 for the base, £12.99 for option 1
On the front end the base product is showing as £17.98 and option 1 as £21.98 as the simple product price is being added to the configurable product. My questions are:

  1. How does UB Data Migration Pro handle configurable products. Will I still have the same issue with it as I have now?
  2. Can we choose not to migrate CMS pages? We’ve used a PageBuilder extension to build lots of CMS pages
  3. Foes UB Data Migration Pro support Magento 2.4.0?

Thanks
Jon

Hi Jon,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
We’d like to answer your questions below:

  1. How does UB Data Migration Pro handle configurable products. Will I still have the same issue with it as I have now?

Please take a look at this article to see how our module converts and migrates a configurable product with both Special Price and variation price to Magento 2.

Can we choose not to migrate CMS pages?

Yes, it’s optional to migrate CMS pages. You simply uncheck the CMS page options like this screenshot.

  1. Foes UB Data Migration Pro support Magento 2.4.0?

Yes, our module is fully compatible with the latest Magento 2.4.
Meanwhile, please note that our module supports Magento CE 1.x to Magento CE 2.x only.
We hope that helps.
Regards,
Ubertheme team
