How remove col-rigth.png

Hi, how can I remove col-rigth.png ONLY from main page, not form others pages where use 2 columns? To can fixt the main page for 3 products insted of six.

If I remove from catalog.xml, wont show up to the others pages with 2 or 3 columns.

Please go to the admin -> CMS -> Pages --> Home -> Design (tab) -> Layout and change it to "1 column".
