PLEASEEEEE HELP!
My categories are all set in the “Manage Categories” and some products are in and selected to the right category. But when I go into the “Manage Megamenu” and try to apply the category to the right menu option there are only three categories for me to choose (Our Products, Sales, Downloads). And on my homepage, the “Products” tab doesn’t link to anything right! PLEASE Help! I CANNOT figure it out!
My categories are so:
- Root Category (60)
- Our Products (40)
- POE (20)
- Injectors (4)
- Switches (11)
- Repeators (4)
- Surveillance Kits (0)
- IP Kits (4)
- Analog Kits (1)
- TVI Kits (1)
- POE (20)
- Sales (1)
- Downloads (0)
- Our Products (40)
And this is what I can choose in the menu
Menu title *
Parent
Top
Menu type
Categories
Cms pages
Custom link
Link *
Select a category
— Sales
— Downloads
— Our Products

Hi Chien,
I am sorry for not getting your points. It would be awesome if you can possibly include URL of your site and a screenshot with detailed explanation. I am happy to help you out.
Best Regards,
Ziven.
Hi Chien,
You are added the cms for this page: http://www.bvsecurity.info/index.php/products
that why it now show like the Categories. You can go to the Admin -> Joomlart -> JM Megamenu -> English -> product and change link to categorise.
Best Regards,
Ziven,
I do not have the categories to choose if you see in my screenshot. My menu is Pharmacy in the Menu Groups. When I go to, say IP Camera and choose category instead of CMS pages, I do not have all the category “IP Camera” I created shown to me.
Hi Chien,
I still not understand what do you want now. But Please PM me your site’s URL, admin and FTP credentials, I’ll detect the root of
the issue for troubleshooting.
Best Regard
Ziven.
I have PM the credentials
Hi Chien,
Now it’s working fine. This is issue by you changed the /public_html/app/design/frontend/uber theme/pharmacy/layout/catalog.XML Now I changed it and it shows up like you want. http://www.bvsecurity.info/index.php/all-products.html. For next time please don’t touch to file .xml if you not understand.
Best Regards,
Ziven.
Thank you for the change! I am not sure how it got changed as we didn’t change anything except in Magento admin.
Is that the reason why I cannot choose what category should show for what tab in the navigation bar? In the item Configuration, I still cannot choose all the categories except,
--All Products
--Downloads
--Sales
I am missing all the others such as,
--POE
--Injectors and etc.
Also some are still giving me 404 Error page and the ones that are linked are not going to the specific category but to all products listed (ex: IP Systems only goes to All Products and not to IP Cameras listings)
Hi Chien,
Now you can go to admin -> joomlart -> JM Megamenu -> English -> and change the categories link like you want. All working now.
Best Regards,
Ziven.
I just checked again and it still is the same problem. I am still only getting 3 choices. Also the menu “English” is not the one that shows the changes but the “Pharmacy” does on the front-end.
Here is the screenshot of how it looks inside.

Hi Chien,
Please tell me the categories from your site? Please try to go to the admin -> Catalog -> Categories and see all categories right you. I think you have only three categories right here. That why the categories do not show up in the JM Megamenu. Please check again or add more categories.
Best Regards,
Ziven.
These are all the categories that I have added already in the “Manage Categories” http://lichaning.com/bike/category.jpg
These are all the menu items in my Mega Menu http://lichaning.com/bike/menu.jpg
All of these categories show on my front-end http://www.bvsecurity.info/
However, I can’t see them in the configuration to choose them to link my products. So as of now, when I click on any category on the front-end, it takes me to all the products listed instead of the single category I clicked on.
Hi Chin,
I see the issue. Please try to download the extension and upload it to root. https://www.dropbox.com/s/cgk5e3hklqvke9z/JmMegamenu.zip?dl=0 If still the issue please let me know if will see details and fix it.
Best Regards,
Ziven.
No it did not fix it. I still see 3 categories and I cannot choose the others.
Also, most of them open to all products but if you open in Firefox, it doesn’t. For instance, “NVR Kits” in Chrome opens to all the listings but, in Firefox, it opens to 404 Error page. And the drop down box itself is not right when you hover over Accessories.
I do not know to fix this at all as I don’t know what the problem is
Hi Chien chang Lu,
No it did not fix it. I still see 3 categories and I cannot choose the others.
=> That because you have settings the menu group named ‘Pharmacy’ showing in the store Techzone/Default/English
and this store view only have 3 categories: http://i.imgur.com/EhHm64c.png
and that is a reason you have only see that categories when you edit the Menu item of Pharmacy menu group.
Please have a look again and let me know if you need further assistance.

Yes. I see that and I changed it so now the categories show up but I don’t see the subcategories. For instance I can choose “Security Kits” but not its subcategories “DVR Kits”, “NVR Kits”, and “AHD KITS”
http://imgur.com/xo5OA1K
Also on the front end, Firefox, and Explorer almost work (not the subcategories) but, Chrome doesn’t at all. This is from Chrome when I clicked on ‘Accessories’
http://imgur.com/8q1oFrs
This is from Firefox for ‘Accessories’
http://imgur.com/GUfARF8
I am not sure why the browsers affect the links
Hi Chien chang Lu,
subcategories. For instance I can choose “Security Kits” but not its subcategories “DVR Kits”, “NVR Kits”, and “AHD KITS”
http://imgur.com/xo5OA1K
=> That because you have config the max_depth of Categories in back-end of your site is 1. See this: http://i.prntscr.com/13b0e677ca764282a956c7d1afeee3f9.png
=> I have re-setting this value to 10 and the Categories Select was show as you want.
Also on the front end, Firefox, and Explorer almost work (not the subcategories) but, Chrome doesn’t at all. This is from Chrome when I clicked on ‘Accessories’
=> I see it not found in all browsers (Chrome and Firefox…).
That because you have wrong config in back-end of your site at module: System/Manage Stores/…
See here: http://i.imgur.com/i0VWyHc.png
=> In your case, you have to set the “Pharmacy (Code: pharmacy)” website is default website. Not is Techzone website.
=> I have re-setting this for you and the issue was solved.
Have a look again and let’s me know if you need further assistance!

Thank you! That does work. The only thing that is odd is the last category “Security HDD which doesn’t line up with the others. Is there a setting that I missed for it?

In your case, to solve that issue, let’s open the CSS file at (line 308):
http://www.bvsecurity.info/skin/frontend/ubertheme/pharmacy/joomlart/jmmegamenu/css/jmmegamenu.css
and edit it as this example: http://i.imgur.com/hwrj0tl.png
and setting in back-end of the JM MegaMenu as this: http://i.prntscr.com/bd3b110b6d6c4656bbce20e0ba0e91d1.png
and clean the Magento cache.
