Sorry, I missed your point.
UB Data Migration Pro has two packages -- 3 months and 12 months, as specified here: https://www.ubertheme.com/magento-extensions-2-x/magento-2-data-migration-pro/
The duration 3 months or 12 months refers to the time you have full access to our technical support and download access.

Ok thank you, then I think I will pass because it is too expensive since Magento is in such an early stage of development. I don’t want to end up with an extension I can’t use because Magento 2 made changes. Support I can understand but download access should be unlimited for such an extension.

I see. The need of Magento 2 varies from project to project.
For custom migration projects we’ve handled so far, as well as recent members that use our migration tool, I see a common fact that moving to Magento 2 is a big decision, as it relates to not only data, but also the themes and extensions. So, once they make decision to make full migration, they will no longer maintain both Magento 1 and 2 for the same site. And 3 months are flexible for them to complete the migration.
Anyway, if you have new plan next time for Magento 2 migration, feel free to check back our tool.
