Incremental update issue

Hello.
We are migrating magento 1.8.1 store to magento2.
At first we used magento2-data-migration tool which is provided by magento2 and managed to migrate all data with fixing errors on our magento1 db.
And we tried to do incremental update and we got critical error so we decided to use Uber Migration tool.
And there are a lot of things done on that migrated site.
So what we tried is.
1. Removed all products, categories, customers, sales information from magento2 ( which is migrated with magento2-data-migration tool) from magento2 DB.
2. Installed Uber Migration tool.
3. Tried migrating using this tool.
And the problem we faced is tool is duplicating many things.
1. Website / Store Group / Store Views.
2. Attribute Sets / Attribute Groups
3. Customer Group

So we want to keep our work done on magento2 site and want to load all products, categories (there was update on products and categories on magento1 site) , customers, orders.

Hi there,

And the problem we faced is tool is duplicating many things.
1. Website / Store Group / Store Views.
2. Attribute Sets / Attribute Groups
3. Customer Group

That issues occurred because you did use Magento default tool in the first time. Please consider to follow the best workflow below when using our migration tool:
Step 1: Install a new fresh Magento 2 instance.
Step 2: Install the latest version of our tool.
Step 3: Start data migration in all step as per our Readme.hrml guideline (included in your download package)
Step 4: Verify your migrated data (If the issue still persist, kindly let me know details of issue)
Step 5: Once your migrated data is fully ready, you can continue with third-party themes/extensions integration.
Regards,
Mall.

two things.
one thing is this extension can create different ids with the default magento2 migration tool.
another thing is complex EAV importing from new installation.
but would be easier than import all things to new installation after migrating.

Hi stetrin,
Please note our tool helps you port M1 data to M2 data only. And as per the recommended workflow in previous reply, you should focus on the data migration at this phase. You start integrating theme/extension only after you complete the data migration step.
Regards,
Mall.
