No such entity with cartId/customerId

I’ve been contacted by a potential client so don’t have all the details.
They migrated from M1 to M2 but still had some older orders from M1 that had not been processed, when they try to ship or update these old orders, get this error message No such entity with cartId/customerId “xxxxx”

Did you mean that some sales orders in your M1 were not migrated to M2?

when they try to ship or update these old orders, get this error message No such entity with cartId/customerId “xxxxx”

And you meant that when editing the migrated sales orders in M2, you got that error message?
 
Also, we wonder your client did use our UB Data Migration Pro module before? If that’s the case, please instruct your client to submit a ticket under the paid profile at Ubertheme, we will follow up further then.

I don’t have client info as yet, just trying to figure out if this is related.
Basically any orders when it’s M2 work fine, they old orders from before the migration that they are now shipping, so anytime they try to ship or refund an old M1 order they get the error 
No such entity with cartId “xxxxx”
Not sure if this is related or how to fix so investigating. If it is migration pro related I’ll get their info. Thanks

Hi Mike, 
 
If your client used our UB Data Migration Pro module, then there’s a high chance that he did something wrong during the migration process. 
 
For other users who used our module, sales orders work fine without any issue as you mentioned. 
 
Please instruct your client to submit a ticket under his paid profile at Ubertheme, we will take a closer look then.
