Order time discrepency after import

Hello, I’m having an issue on order time when I import.  Both the M1 and M2 stores are set for eastern time zone In Configuration > General.  However, after I import, the orders in M2 are all 7 hours later than the order in M1.  Can you let me know how to resolve this?

Hi there,
Our migration tool migrates your M1 data to M2 in accordance with both MySQL and Magento 2 standard. The timezone issue refers more to the your Magento 2 specific settings. Please check again.

Hello,
All orders are definitely off 7 hrs although created date matches created date of M1 site so the field is coming over with the correct db value. However,  when placing a new order in M2 the date and time are correct.
So some piece or setting must be missing or off.  Any ideas on where that would be?

As explained in my previous reply, our migration tool helped to migrate database’s value only. The displaying of date time fields in the back-end depends on the timezone settings and Magento 2’s functionality.

Mall.
