I have managed to get the theme mostly working how I want it to, however I have a big problem.
If you click on a product that is entered (only two so far!) all I get is a blank screen! Please Help?

Ok, so I’ve fixed this one.
Apparently the section I removed from the column1.phtml killed this page.
I needed it gone to create the home page how I want however, so right now a bit frustrated.
Any ideas on how to make and use a new template for only the main index page?

If you have another theme and want to use for the homepage only, you can go to admin area of your site. Navigate to CMS > Pages > Home page > Design > Custom Design, then select your desired theme / layout there: http://prntscr.com/4f0z8l
