Technical Support a nightmare for UK customers

I am helping a friend update his website that he had designed by a company who are no longer trading.

I had contacted joomlart to ask for help with a few problems as the template was already bought by the company who designed it. They would not look at the site without the purchase code, so I re-purchased the site (which my friend already had -- JM Wall) then contacted the support again with the problem.

40 Hours have passed, the website isn’t working since updating to the latest version of magento and I now find out they aren’t working on weekends!!

This is very poor customer support services offered here and its the UK Bank Holiday weekend and usually a very busy weekend for the site, its hard enough trying to get support from joomlart in the UK as replies are all in the middle of the night and by the time you check your emails first thing, they have been online and gone back off again without a reply.

How long should a reply take? Very Very poor customer care! 1 Star out of 5 so far.

Many companies do not work weekends. I think it is great they are giving the tech help, well deserved time off.

How long should a reply take? Very Very poor customer care! 1 Star out of 5 so far.

Usually, after submitting a support ticket, I have had a response within a few hours.

Perhaps the problem is not the template, but the "updating to the latest version of magento", perhaps restoring the old version with your backup would solve the problem
