I trie to migrate my database from Magento 1.7 to 2.1
I have copied the UB Data Migration Lite files on the server.
But I’m not familiar with Terminal. Is there an other way to do it?

Hi Thomas,
The Lite version comes with limited feature sets, and is mainly for testing purpose only (it does not support Nginx, delta migration and available for Magento CE 2.0.7 only).
In case you still wish to proceed a test migration with Lite version, please proceed with Magento 2.0.7.
As per some recent similar cases, I highly recommend you consider to move forward with our Pro version which is fully compatible with the latest Magento CE 2 and in particular, the codebase of the latest version V3.0.2 is completely revamped, with various new features (Delta Migration, Command-line Interface so on).

(Ax you can see via the two videos above, the workflow in Pro v3 is completely different from the Lite version)

Thanks for your reply! I have to talk about the costs of pro with my client. Delta Migration looks like a pretty cool feature!
Anyway the installation seems to start only by using Terminal. And I have no skills of using it. Is there another way to run it?

The installation of the module is similar to any standard Magento 2 extensions which you can easily follow as per our detailed installation guide.
For the migration part, you simple follow the steps in our tool visual dashboard which ease the process a lot.
