Hi All,
I just want to warn anyone from buying anything from Joomlart. I purchased a theme from them and amongst the many bugs (many I had to resolve myself) the menu system does not work. I have submitted tickets and attempted several things myself, but to date I am yet to receive any reasonable response from a joomlart team member.
Happy to take your money, not so happy to provide quality products.
So, in short, save your money, or if you need to, go buy from elsewhere.

Please try to re-index data in your site via Admin > System > Index management section.
If it still doesn’t work, please PM me your site’s admin account & ftp account so that I can help debug your site. It’s really hard for us to give suggestion without having a closer look at this issue.

I responded to this message, but alas no response from Joomlart.
This does not work, I have re-indexed, I have cleared caches, I have even tried a different menu to confirm that the page.xml was set up correctly. An alternative menu solution does provide a menu, however I’d prefer to keep it all in the same theme. (as well, I pretty much would like what I paid for… otherwise, why pay for it?!?)
Due to security restrictions on my web server I am unable to provide you with a username and password to my FTP account. Can you please describe how the megamenu is hooked into the page.xml file, so I can do some unit testing around that functionality to determine what the cause is…
Also, if you actually look at my ticket you will find a reference to versions 1.2.5 and 1.2.6 of the megamenu which is not available on the download site. (which only has 1.2.4 available) What was changed in these versions and why are they not available for download?

I need these info as it helps to solve problem more quickly. It’s hard for us to predict what you customize on your site or how you configure.
If you have not much customisation on your site, please consider to re-install this theme using our Quickstart package which includes sample data and all available extensions as shown in our demo site.
Regarding to the version of JM Megamenu, the current latest release version is 1.2.4. The new version often includes bug fixes/improved features and it needs careful testing before being available for release.
As you confirmed that the workaround mentioned in the ticket ID# RSV-721-94426 works. I would like to update the solution here and hope it will help if someone face the same issue.

The problem comes from the cache/ session issue in magento so you navigate to System > Manage Stores > and select your default store: http://prntscr.com/3ub5an. Just make sure that you select the correct ‘menu group’, then try to disable the store view > re-index data. http://prntscr.com/3ub5k8
