different themes in multi store

We have installed UB bookshop theme 1.04 including Helper + the Extended bookshop plugins.
We have installed Magento 2.1.6 with a configuration of one base store and 20+ multistores.
We take for granted that ‘blocks’ can shift unchanged between different stores.
In Magento backend content/design/configuration the site structure with the different (in the standard install one and the same theme) themes are showed.
In Magento backend content/design/themes shows the different configurated themes of the provided UB bookshop theme 1.04
What we need:
For each of our 20+ multistores we need a separate theme, so that we are able to config each theme separately with Help. So the 7 themes UB provides in content/design/themes is not sufficient.
We are aware of this step regarding copy theme -- Crafts theme:
https://www.ubertheme.com/docs/crafts-magento-2-theme/
Step 1: Create New Theme
To create a new theme, copy the crafts folder in the extracted folder crafts to your site root folder.
The overwritten folders should have a directory layout like this:
Questions:
1. Is Step 1: Create New Theme -- the right procedure to copy paste different new themes?
If yes
2. Can you specify a more precise procedure for copying a theme within an UB book theme install (for example ‘overwritten folders’ is confusing, because we want to copy themes)
If no
3. Can you provide us with precise procedure to copy the UB book theme within an UB book theme install

Hi Ziven, we managed to generate a new theme following your instruction, but the theme is not displayed in the list content/design/themes. Do you have any idea. (Flush magento cache done, all cache types disabled)
