Missing categories

Hi,
After running “Migrate Categories” in UB Data Migration Pro almost all categories are missing when trying to add them in UB Mega menu. 
In catalog --> categories they are enabled and “visible in menu”.
I’ve done all reindexing and cache cleaning. Any idea?

Hi Henrik,
I wonder if you have assigned the migrated root category to the store that you’re configuring the mega menu? 
If you already assigned, please provide us the following site info, I will check and get back to you then: 

  • URL and admin credentials of your M2 instance
  • SSH credentials of your M2 instance
  • Let me know the path to your M2 folder.

Hi Henrik,

I have changed the Root category to the migrated root category ‘Default Migrated’ for the current default Store of current website in your M2 instance. And the issue you mentioned was solved:

And categories loaded in the Import Categories form: http://i.prntscr.com/oUwaVc6dQo6e5UPWLZaTqA.png

However, your menu is set with all store scope (https://prnt.sc/mzc140), so assigning root migrated categories is not needed in this case. 

I have checked our module again, and for that case, our module gets the categories of the root category which are assigned for the current default Store of the default website only. Therefore that is needed.
