We want to keep same store ids, attribute id, category id, productids, and possibly all other things.
We are ready to setup migration all over again.
Can you please send us a list of what ids are preserved in migration and what not?
Ids are important to us for many reasons, could you please also help?
We saw that customization can be done for preserving storeids in a ticket, please guide us for same
Also, what are the impacts of checking or unchecking MERGE DEFAULT WEBSITES ?

Hi there,
Can you please send us a list of what ids are preserved in migration and what not?
By default our migration tool does not support Keep Original IDs for the following data objects: Store ids, attribute ids, category ids.
Since default Magento 2 always has initial websites, stores, store view, and attributes, so keeping orginal ids for store ids and attribute ids is not possible.
For category IDs, we did suggest you a workaround as explained in this ticket (You can apply that workaround if you choose to).
For the data objects available for Keep Original IDs, you can easily see the checkbox in place in the migration dashboard respectively.

We bought the Pro version we got the same problem.
Your migration tool should include these options.
The fact that magento2 has already its own id’s already doesn’t mean you can not update it.
Can you adjust your scripts and send us a complete adjusted module where we can keep:
1-website ids
2-store ids
3-categories ids
