I set up all my database creds and click update & continue. After about 10 seconds I get the following error.
Couldn’t connect to Magento 1 database: Connection timed out

Hi there,
Couldn’t connect to Magento 1 database: Connection timed out
That issue related to the MySQL settings in your M1’s instance. Please contact to the hosting provider of your M1 database to get more help about that issue.

I have been talking to my host, Nexcess about this and they said all the settings are correct. I did have a different M2 dev site that I had the migration working properly but I scrapped the site. I had them compare the settings. Maybe they missed something. Any other ideas?
Hi there,
Since this refers more to the server side setting, please consider setting up a new instance and give it a try again.
Thanks for your understanding.

I renewed my subscription and was able to get it to work. It runs fine until step 5. I get the following error.
PHP Error[2]: include(Mage2CatalogProductEntityMediaGalleryValueToEntity.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory
Hi up.doors,
PHP Error[2]: include(Mage2CatalogProductEntityMediaGalleryValueToEntity.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory
Let’s re-check the php file at path: pub/ub-tool/protected/models/mage2/Mage2CatalogProductEntityMediaGalleryValueToEntity.php
It seem that needed PHP file was missed or it has issue with file’s permission. Let’s try re-upload for that file from source file:
lib/protected/models/mage2/Mage2CatalogProductEntityMediaGalleryValueToEntity.php (you could look for this file in downloaded package)
And then, continue with data migration in the step #5 and tell me know how it goes.

Mall.
I started with another fresh M2 install and reinstalled the extension and it worked perfect. Thank you
