Using magento 2.0.7 + UB Data Migration Lite 1.0.6 (php v7.1+apache 2) can’t get working tool -- it show:
Error 500
unserialize(): Unexpected end of serialized data
Please help!

Hi Vasya,
The issue relates to the PHP setting of your server. Please try to run this command:
rm -R /var/www/html/site.com/pub/ub-tool/protected/runtime/
Anyway, please consider to move forward with our Pro version. I did explain a few reasons in this ticket why Pro version will save you more time, with complete new features that are not in place in the Lite version.

The issue relates to the PHP setting of your server.
Could you, please, point exactly place of wrong PHP settings (what do you mean)?
Command
rm -R /var/www/html/site.com/pub/ub-tool/protected/runtime/
does not help with this issue.
I’m very appreciate for your job, but for now I just want to know how to launch Lite version (hope it possible).
any other idea?

It’s hard for us to debug the root of issue while you work in your local instance.
Please consider to proceed test migration with our Lite version on your live site, then provide us SSH and admin credentials of your live site. Kindly advice the path of your webroot folder as well.

I’ve found a solution to the same issue you were having.
This version of Yii which comes packed with the migration tool isn’t compatible with PHP7.1 (which i’m using)
I had to download the most up to date version of Yii as they have released a fix for it on github. Just overwrite the Yii folder in the ub-tool folder with your new downloaded files.
This solved my errors instantly. I hope this helps.

Glad that you find a workaround for the issue. Actually, due to our limited resources, we could not provide updates to the Lite version, that’s why we recommend it for testing purpose only.
For Pro version, we had better chance to provide latest updates and bug fixes, not only in line with the Magento releases, but also optimization and fixes to handle new database issues.

And Open CCache.php on line no 108.

Change to :
$value=unserialize(base64_decode($value));

Thanks for sharing the workaround.
The UB Data Migration Lite uses an outdated codebase, with limited feature sets, thus it is for testing purpose only.
We’re biased to mention this, but moving forward with our Pro version will definitely save you much time.

Since the Lite version uses an outdated codebase, it might raise unexpected issues during the migration process.
